Step 1. Click on the Apple Menu
Step 2. Select "Control Panels"
Step 3. Select "Remote Access"

(If you are using Mac OS 8.0 or 8.1 "Remote Access" is under the name "PPP")

Step 4. In the Name field enter a name for this connection. VIRCOM would be a good choice. In the Password field enter your password. Click on the Save Password checkbox. In the Number field type the modem telephone you were given, or that you determined from the dial-up section of our web site.

Step 5. Set up the DNS Servers. In the menu "Remote Access" select "TCP/IP".

Step 6. In the "Connect via:" select "PPP". In the "Configure:" select Using PPP Server". In the "Name server addr." you should type the DNS servers Numbers

Step 7. You can now click on "Connect"
